London Branch of NFBUK would like to invite you to our 41st annual Weekend at the Afton Hotel, Eastbourne with full board from and including dinner on Friday 11th to and including breakfast on Monday 14th November 2016. If you wish, you can extend your stay for an extra night on Thursday 10th November.
On Friday evening there will be Latin music with a traditional Brazillian cocktail. On Saturday morning, Boneco de Sousa will demonstrate Capoeira which is a Brazilian martial art form combining fight, dance, rhythm and movement. On Saturday afternoon, Barbara Mirata teaches us salsa. On Saturday evening, DJ Michael McEnery will again provide plenty more music for dancing. On Sunday morning, there will be an Olympic talk. Learn about the paraolympics in Rio and a possibility of trying out an olympic sport! On Sunday afternoon, Linda Murray plays Latin jazz saxophone with Bossanova rhythms. On Sunday evening, Christina Finlayson will once again test our knowledge in a scintillating quiz. Don’t forget the raffle and bonus ball which you can all participate in.
This weekend will, as usual be a busy one with opportunities to participate in activities.
The price for 3 nights (Friday to Monday)in twin and double en-suite rooms which must be shared by two people is £127 per person. The price for 4 nights (Thursday to Monday) will be £169 per person. Sorry, all single rooms have been taken up. There are also a limited number of sole occupancy rooms available for £145 for 3 nights or £193 for 4 nights.
